Liver
The food smelled lovely, but unfortunately it attracted a nearby highwayman. The highwayman wanted the landlady’s food: “Stand and deliver!” (the liver), he said. “Give me your food, I’m hungry.”
The liver produces bile and regulates chemical levels in the blood.
