There are two types of kidney dialysis. Haemodialysis is one of these.

Haemodialysis is the cleaning of blood by machine.

Haemo means blood.

The he man (haemo) always gave blood but he insisted on using his weight training machine at the same time.

Dialysis means the artificial cleaning of blood.

Haemodialysis filters the blood to clean it just as the kidneys themselves do it, but outside the body, by means of a dialysis machine.
