Inception – the start
Inception means the starting point of an organisation or activity.
The soldiers were all in step before standing to attention (inception) at the start of the parade.
The inception of something — such as a charity, a club or an annual sporting event — is the very beginning, the starting point, the foundation, the formation or the initiation.
