When you meet a person and they tell you their name always try to add an additional pretend surname:

Amanda - add - panda (Amanda Panda)

Dan - add - Druff (Dandruff)

Shirley - add - Curly (Shirley Curly)

To further increase your chance of remembering their name, see the person carrying out a MOVEMENT that is relevant to their name.

Amanda Panda - see them trying to eat bamboo.

Dandruff - see them shake their head full of dandruff.

Shirley - see them use tongs to create more curls.
