With the introduction of DNA into taxonomy, analysis has changed.
Four methods of analysing DNA to help in taxonomy
The four methods of DNA analysis that are used in classification (taxonomy) are:
DNA base sequencing, DNA protein comparison, DNA hybridisation and DNA barcoding.
