Cajole – To persuade by flattery or promise (sometimes false)

To remember the definition of the word cajole, use the following mnemonic:
Catch her with a jewel (cajole). Flatter her and tell her that she sparkles like a jewel and promise her she can have the jewel if she goes out with you.
