Enclave - A country or area entirely surrounded by another country
(Pronounced en-clayve)
A country, area or piece of land that is completely surounded by a bigger area like a country. It can also mean a group that is set off from a larger population by its characteristic or behavior.
To remember the definition of the word enclave, use the following mnemonic:
