Normative – Relating to a norm, as the standard of correct behaviour
(Pronounced nawr-mah-tiv)
To remember the definition of the word normative, use the following mnemonic:
He's watched the other dragons gnaw and munch their captives (normative), so the younger dragon considered it to be the standard of correct behaviour.
