Hecate
(Pronounced hek-uh-tee)
Hecate is often referred to as the "Queen of the Witches" in Greek mythology. In Shakespeare's Macbeth she is the leader of the three witches. Hecate appears in two scenes, primary to reprimand the witches for acting without her permission and to ensure Macbeth's ultimate destruction.
