Henry VIII’s sixth wife – Catherine Parr
The catherine wheel is finally stopped by a parrot (Parr) and transfers its colours to the bird’s feathers (that’s how parrots got their gaudy colours!). And it’s the catherine wheel that reminds us that this was yet another Catherine!
