John – 1199

John – John (the Baptist) – only one of them

199 = t p p = white paper

John was a king in 1199

John the Baptist baptised white paper to be used as the Magna Carta (King John was the monarch who signed the Magna Carta).

NOTE: For this one king, we have not followed the usual format of taking the first letter of the name and the accompanying number to make a word. The reason is that J (for John) would clash with James 1 and James II. As John is the only king of this name, and as John the Baptist creates such a vivid image, we have used John’s full name here.
