Body – le corps

(Pronounced Kor)

To remember that Body is pronounced kor (corps) in French, use the following mnemonic:

The Police said the body was found under a pile of apple cores (corps).

Corps is masculine, so its le corps. So imagine the early learner hanging off the arm of a body builder.
