Spring – le printemps
(Pronounced pran-tom – the "n" and the "m" are barely sounded)
To remember that Spring is pronounced pran-tom (printemps) in French, use the following mnemonic:
When spring arrived everything pranced around, it scared the tomato (printemps).
Printemps is masculine, so it's le printemps. Imagine our early learner riding on a spring bunny.
