July – chee-yu-eh

Written as qīyuè or qiyue

Note: July in Mandarin Chinese ends with "month" which we already know is yu-eh (yue). 

July is chee-yu-eh (qiyue). 

To remember that the beginning of the word for July is pronounced chee (qi), use the following mnemonic:

I'm due a lie (July) down after eating so much cheese (chee).
