How to spell Already
The common mistake made with the spelling of "already" is to include a double "L" instead of a single one.
This is partly due to to people thinking that the word "already" can mean the same as the words "all ready".
Already is used to mean before or by now.
Whereas all means everything and ready means fully prepared.
They were all ready for the office party but the boss appeared drunk, having already had one litre of wine at lunch.
