How to spell Hors d'oeuvres

A common mistake with the spelling of hors d'oeuvres is "orderves" where people miss out the "H" the first "S" the "U" and the second "R". To make sure you don't do this think of the following:

The hors d'oeuvres were served to the horse and the doe under UV light in the restaurant.

NOTE: Remember to include an apostrophe in do (D'O).
