They are Superheroes (Act 1, scene 2)

A wounded captain reports to king Duncan that Macbeth fought bravely against the rebel Macdonald and the Norwegian army.

A wounded captain reports to king Duncan that Macbeth fought bravely against the rebel Macdonald and the Norwegian army. The Captain describes Macbeth and Banquo as heroes, first defeating Macdonald and his Irish and Hebridean rebels. Macdonald was split open and beheaded by Macbeth. Macbeth and Banquo then take on the Norwegian Lord, Sweno, the king of Norway and his men. Sweno was assisted by the traitorous Thane of Cawdor. Sweno is so badly defeated that he seeks peace and offers much money to bury his men. The Thane of Cawdor is captured. King Duncan is pleased by the news of Macbeth’s valour and the victory but expresses anger at The Thane of Cawdor’s treachery. Duncan orders The Thane of Cawdor’s execution and announces that Macbeth will inherit The Thane of Cawdor’s title. King Duncan sends Ross and Angus to tell Macbeth the news.
