Goddess of Witchcraft (act 3, Scene 5)

Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, scolds the three witches for their dealings with Macbeth without her input, and declares she will now take charge of his downfall. She plans to meet with Macbeth at Acheron and will show him visions that will feed his ambition and lead him to ruin. The witches are instructed to prepare. Hecate will make Macbeth feel invincible.
