Remember One Date and Use a Series

If you are having trouble learning dates, one teacher applies their students to learning one date and then builds a series of relationships from this date.

Example

Many of this teachers students can remember when the Titanic sank in 1912.

Think 1912 and the last number is a two. Two years later is the start of the first World War.

Series 2

Now that you have the start of World War 1 i.e. 1914 you can now build on this date. 1914 has the last number as four. The first World War lasted four years and ended in 1918.
