Sunday – le dimanche

On Sunday, they planned to go to church as usual, but when they got there they found workmen had started to demolish (dimanche) it!

The days of the week in French are all masculine, so it’s le lundi, le mardi, le mercredi, le jeudi, le vendredi, le samedi and le dimanche.
