Voltage

Voltage is like the height that you have to vault to in order that you can crash down to push an electron through.

Voltage is whats required to get electrons or current to flow through a circuit. 

Voltage is like a 1m height that forces 6.24×1018 electrons per second through a 1 ohm resistance. 

1 volt = 6.24×1018 electrons (1 amp) through 1 ohm

Voltage can be thought of in terms of the height in water tanks feeding through a pipe.
