First Class Lever - Fulcrum is the middle component and lies between the effort and the load
Levers are classified into three types based on the location of the fulcrum, the effort force and the load.
This type of lever is rare in the human body, but an example is found in the neck when raising the head. Neck muscles provide the effort, the neck is the fulcrum and the weight of the head is the load.
Note: The arrow on effort and load can be either way.
First class levers can be used to lift heavy weights or in seesaws.
First class levers can be used to take out nails.
