The parts found inside animal and plant cells are called organelles.
To remember the term, think of an organ in a cell (organelle).
Examples of organelles include:
- Nucleus
- Ribosome
- Mitochondrion
- Vacuole
- Chloroplast
These are just some organelles – there are many more.
