V - B
The letter V is pronounced like the English letter B.
But the tricky part for learners of Spanish is that there are two different sounds Spanish speakers make when pronouncing the letter V (B sound).
The hard V (B sound) when a V appears at the beginning of a Spanish word.
The soft V (B sound) when a V appears in the body of the word, between other letters.
The letter V is pronounced B
To remember this we use the following mnemonic:
Out of the volcano (V) loads of colourful balls (V=B) erupted.
