Forecast (weather) – el pronóstico
(Pronounced proh-noss-tee-koh)
To remember that forecast is pronounced proh-noss-tee-koh (pronóstico) in Spanish, use the following mnemonic:
The weather forecast was terrible. This prognosis meant we wore tea cosies (pronóstico) to stay warm.
Pronóstico is masculine, so it's el pronóstico. Imagine an elephant checking the weather forecast.
