Man – el hombre
(Pronounced om-bray – the "h" is silent in Spanish)
To remember that man is pronounced om-bray (hombre) in Spanish, use the following mnemonic:
The man ate his meal as normal – even though they had served his omelette in a beret (hombre).
It's so obvious that hombre (man) is masculine that we're not including an elephant image here.
