How to remember myopia and hyperopia
To remember the difference between myopia and hyperopia use the following mnemonics:
Sight short (is great)
Focus short
but have you noticed that myopia is the shorter of the two words myopia and hyperopia so now we have.
Sight short | (is great) | ||

Word short | (myopia) |
So too then
Sight long (is great)
Focus long
and again the longer word out of myopia and hyperopia is hyperopia.
So we get:

was
Hyper-active = Overly long excitement = Hyperopia
