Antagonist Muscles
Are muscles which work in pairs and opposites. The agonist muscle causes the action, while the antagonist relaxes. These roles reverse when the actions works the other way

A broad, flat muscle that stretches to the sides of the middle and lower back

Muscle positioned on the sides of the torso which assists body rotation and bending

The muscles that connect the front of the chest to the bones of the upper arm and shoulder

Adductors
Muscle group located on the inner thighs which serve to bring the legs toward the centre of the body

Erector Spinae
A muscle group which run the length of the back, from the neck to the pelvis

Abdominal
Muscle positioned centrally on the front of the body between the ribs and the pelvis

Muscle that covers part of the forehead and is responsible for elevation of the eyebrows

The muscle which connects to the end of the shoulder blade (scapula) and to the upper arm (humerus) to facilitate shoulder movement
