Anatomy and Eidonomy
Morphology can be separated into anatomy, which is the form and structure of an organism’s inside and eidonomy, which is the outside shape or features of an organism.
Note: Often at basic levels of biology, anatomy takes a more general definition of the form and structure of both the inside and outside of an organism.
Eidonomy: Outside shape or features of an organism

The taxi continues to morph until it has a cow hide on (eidonomy) the outside.
Anatomy: Inside shape or features of an organism

Only people with a hat on (anatomy) were allowed inside the taxi.
NOTE:
In everyday language anatomy has become a generalisation that covers both anatomy and eidonomy.
