Carbohydrates
Another component of food is carbohydrates. Carbohydrates include starch and sugars which are all saccharides.
Di Chest drives in her posh car to the high gates (carbohydrates) at the rear entrance of her ranch.
Carbohydrates – starch
Starch is a carbohydrate
When Di Chest arrives at the high gates she gets out to admire the star arch (starch) over the gates.
Carbohydrates – sugars
Sugar is a carbohydrate.
Near to the rear gate Di Chest feeds her horses sugar.
Carbohydrates – saccharides
Carbohydrates – starch and sugars are saccharides
After this, Di Chest puts a sack on her horse and goes for a ride. We could call it a sack ride (saccharide)
Saccharides – glucose
Most saccharides will be turned into glucose in the body.
Unfortunately when Di Chest’s horses can no longer cope with a sack ride (saccharide) some go to the glue factory (glucose).
