Object – el objeto
(Pronounced ohb-heh-toh)
To remember that object is pronounced ohb-heh-toh (objeto) in Spanish, use the following mnemonic:
We couldn't make out what the object was until we got closer, then it was obvious: a hen attacking a toad (objeto).
Objeto is masculine, so it's el objeto. Imagine an elephant holding a strange object in its trunk.
