An organism which kills and consumes animals to obtain energy.

An animal which is hunted for food by other animals.

The one who is praying (prey) is the victim. The other must therefore be the predator and thus the killer.

Examples of predators could be Lions, sharks and spiders as they can be intelligent fast and agile

Examples of prey could be seals, wilder beast, flies, because they might not be as agile or fast in the way of speed than predators

Wildebeest, seals and flies are all prey for other animals.
