The Heart
The heart is a muscle that pumps blood around the body. Veins lead into the heart and arteries lead out of the heart.
NOTE:
Blue shows flow of unoxygenated blood
Red shows flow of oxygenated blood
Whenever we discuss the heart, the right atrium is on the right hand side of the person whose heart we are discussing.
