Main elements of a blast furnace

Coke limestone and haematite (iron ore) are dropped into a blast furnace.

Inputs

Coke, haematite (iron ore) and limestone are inserted at the top

Hot air dryers blast hot air in from the sides

Outputs

3 Casio calculators (slag or CaSiO₃) are removed from the side

Iron (Fe) is collected at the bottom
