linking violence to quotations in Macbeth extension

If you want four more quotes to remember under the theme of violence we can extend the story. First we must create a single memorable image for each of the next four quotations:

Quotation 4

"I would while it was smiling in my face, have plucked my nipple from its boneless gums and dashed the brains out had I so sworn, as you have done this."

The line pushes the boundaries of moral decency showing how deeply she's willing to descend into evil. 

The quotation can be remembered with the single picture of seeing a smile.

Quotation 5

"All my pretty ones? Did you say all? O hell-kite! All? What, all my pretty chickens and their dam at one fell swoop?"

The brutality of Macbeth's actions is exposed, he has slaughtered innocent, defenceless people including children. 

The quotation can be remembered with a single picture of seeing pretty ones which in this case is two beautiful birds.

Quotation 6

"We have scorched the snake, not killed it."

Macbeth believes violence must continue to protect what he's gained.

The quotation can be remembered with the single image of "scorching" something with a flame thrower.

Quotation 7

"It will have blood they say: Blood will have blood."

Macbeth realises that by killing Banquo and others he is now trapped in a cycle of bloodshed. Violence cannot solve his problems, it only creates more.

The quotation can be remembered with "It" has blood.

In quotation 3 we have someone who has drawn dashes all over the egg.

Link this last image to a "smile" to "the pretty ones" to "scorching something" to "it having blood."

The boy who just covered the egg with dashes now draws a "smile" on the egg.

And then out of the egg and the smiles comes two "pretty ones."

Two people come up to the pretty ones and "scorch" them using flame throwers.

They get the two pretty ones to hospital when "It" gives them blood.
