Scales on one string
A guitarist often learns scales around one area of the guitar in a box shape. You will gain so much more if you also learn scales using a one string approach travelling all the way along the string.
There is so much more to be gained by actually seeing the intervals ad learning to travel from one end of the guitar to the other. You will also learn more visually where notes are on each string. Practise scales this way every day for ten minutes and your mastery of the guitar will rapidly improve.
