The order of the key signatures – sharps
If one, and only one, sharp appears in the key signature, it is always an F sharp.
If two sharps appear in the key signature then it is always an F and a C sharp.
If three sharps appear in the key signature then it is always an F, C and G sharp.
If four sharps appear in the key signature then it is always an F, C, G and D sharp.
If five sharps appear in the key signature then it is always an F, C, G, D and A sharp.
If six sharps appear in the key signature then it is always F, C, G, D, A and E sharp.
If seven sharps appear in the key signature then it is always an F, C, G, D, A, E and B sharp.
