Remembering DNA base pairings
G and C bases
DNA consists of four bases A, T, C and G, which always pair in the same groups.
Guanine always pairs with cytosine: G-C or C-G.
G and C are both curvy letters which pair together.
T and A bases
Thymine always pairs with adenine: T-A or A-T.
T and A are both pointy letters, which also pair together.
