In 24 hours, on average your kidneys filter around 150 litres of blood and produce about 1.5 litres of urine.
NOTE:
The same figures, 1 and 5, are used twice, but with the decimal point in a different place – i.e. 150.00 litres, 1.50 litres. This should help you remember!
