How to plot the cosine curve

Plot the adjacent distance left or right against degrees turned with a 1m long hypotenuse.

Start the plotting at 1m with an angle of zero

Plot the first 45 degrees with the adjacent distance right measuring 0.707 meters

Plot the next 90 degrees with the adjacent distance right measuring 0 meters

Plot the next 135 degrees with the adjacent distance right measuring -0.707 meters

Plot the next 180 degrees with the adjacent distance right measuring -1 metre Start to curve the line up to signify changing to left

Plot the next 225 degrees with the adjacent distance left measuring -0.707 metres

Plot the next 270 degrees with the adjacent distance left measuring 0 metres

Plot the next 315 degrees with the adjacent distance left measuring 0.707 metres

Plot the next 360 degrees with the adjacent distance left measuring 1 metres. Start to curve the line again to signify measuring the left distance of adjacent line
