Lens – transparent disc that focuses images
The eye’s lens is similar to a lens in a pair of glasses, except the human lens actually changes its shape in order to focus images at different distances.
The lens is a disc of transparent, flexible tissue that focuses images onto the retina. It is positioned behind the cornea and pupil.
