3 Times table

Three times table - When you multiply a number by three, you just treble that number.

Any number times three is the same as that number plus itself twice.

Example 1

$3times6$ is the same as $6+6=12$ then $12+6=18$

Example 2

$3times7$ is the same as $7 +7=14$ then $14+7=21$

Example 3

$3times12$ is the same as $12+12=24$ then $24+12=36$
