Summary of virtual images formed by convex mirrors

If we summarise the previous section you can see how the variation in object distance from the convex mirrors varies the virtual image.

As the object is moved closer to the convex mirror, its virtual image on the opposite side of the mirror approaches the mirror as well. At the same time the image becomes larger too.

But we can also summarise that the virtual image is:
