Anaerobic is without oxygen.
Glucose produces energy without oxygen and creates lactic acid.
Glucose → lactic acid + energy
(Note: Respiration is the production of energy)
Anaerobic exercise - Are exercises that are so intense that the available oxygen from the blood isn't enough.
Anaerobic exercise - Must be incredibly intense.
Anaerobic exercise are HIIT.
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training
EPOC is the result of muscles respiring anaerobically.
EPOC - Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption.
EPOC - Requires an increased breathing rate after exercise.
Anaerobic exercise benefits - Build muscle, strengthen bones, burn fat and builds anaerobic stamina.
Anaerobic example exercises - Sprinting, Heavy weightlifting, Jumping.
