Remember present tense – keywords HAVE/HAS/AM/IS
The keywords that reveal a piece is written or spoken in present tense include HAVE, HAS, AM and IS. OR the verb itself might show that the writing is present-tense.
PRESENT = AM/IS/HAVE/HAS or PRESENT TENSE OF VERB
Remember:
The presents (present) have gone amiss.
