Landscape – An extensive area of land regarded as being visually and physically distinct
To remember the meaning of the term Landscape, use the following mnemonic:
There is land in front of us that we need to escape to (landscape). There are so many ways we can go, it's extensive.
A landscape is everything you can see when you look at an area of land.
There are three main types of landscape: mountainous, flat and coastal. Your particular view of a landscape can include any or all three of these types.
