Equality – belief that all people are equal in value and worth, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or anything else
To remember the meaning of Equality in Sikhism, use the following mnemonic:
He questioned the quality (equality) of the beer, but the pub landlord said no matter its colour or anything else, it was just the same in value and worth.
Note: Baptised sikhs are forbidden from drinking alcohol.
