Supination of the Hand – Describes the position of the hand facing upwards
(Pronounced soo-puh-nay-shuhn)
The term supination is not usually examinable at 16, but it is a useful term to remember.
To remember that supination means palm up, use the following mnemonic:
Soup is collected by hand in a nation (supination) that is so poor. You can only collect soup in your hands with your palms up.
Supination is when your palms face upwards.
