Circuit Training – A fitness routine that involves performing a series of exercises with short rest periods in between

Along the electrical circuit, the athletes were training (circuit training). They were performing a series of exercises with short rest periods in between.
Here below is an example of a typical circuit training regime.
Circuit training utilises different types of exercises, allowing for full-body conditioning through endurance, resistance and high-intensity aerobic training. Targeting muscular endurance and strength building, the participant can do multiple circuits while maintaining short breaks between stations.
