Feedback – Information the performer receives about a skill or performance

I feed a treat and rub the dogs back (feedback) if she does well. This is a way of informing the dog that it has been a great performance.
In sports, feedback is important to learn what you are doing right and wrong, and what can be done to improve performance. Properly giving and receiving feedback is an important part of being an effective athlete or coach.
There are two main types of feedback, intrinsic and extrinsic. The following mnemonics will help you to remember them and their differences.
